A slight fail on my part. Bought my cycling shoes when I was short of cash, and went for ones without soles(?).
Thanks to walking, and traffic lights, I'm close to purchasing my 3 set of cleats (@£15 a pop).
...so i thought I'd try and fashion some soles out of old trainers. My first thought was old car tyres, but old shoe soles will probably be more manageable. Thinking that skate-style shoes would be the best choice as the soles will be lo-tec, thicker and flat.
Let me know if you have a pair I can cut up.
