1982 Raleigh Clubman 12 speed Tourer with Reynolds 531 for sale: SOLD

Very well kept for a bike of this age, very little wear besides the odd blemish, lovely decals and lugs, front mud guard apears to have been chewed a little at the back however(see photos). Rides smoothly, everything working great with all original components in good condition.

The bike was bought around 1982 only had one owner then found it's way to me. It's a great winter ride in my opinion however i'm selling because it's just too big sadly.

Thought i'd see if there's any interest here before i put it up on the bay.

Cheeky - I've seen similar bikes being touted for twice that price!

out of interest does that have mounts for a rack (braze ons?) I can't see any in the pics is all.

apart from the saddle, bartape and the mudguards this seems to be originial. £115 is a very very good price for it if it is in good condition

I think I am going to have to pass this up, as I already have an amazing single speed city bike, this isn't really a full on tourer, and it's a bit too nice to be a beater.

like happyhippo Im interested but its probably too big, I'd have to to try. ground to top tube height? according to sheldonbrown the wheels are 26 inch (edit 27 - maybe I am mis-reading, just glanced at his eulogy of this bike)?

@ Happyhippo/JWB - i'm not at home right now so can't get measurements but will put up perhaps tonight or early tomorrow morning.. the wheels are 27's indeed, (knew there was something i missed out!) i'm not entirely sure what my inside leg size is but i'm about 5'10/11 and i could happily ride it, just the top tube was a bit snug to the nether regions when off the seat, which was potentially a bit worrying!!...
