Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out another lot of interesting and bargain frames together with large budget bike. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread:

for details of what is available.
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

DAWES ARISTOCRAT BIKE Early 1980s
Seat Tube (ctt): 64cm (25in)
Top Tube (ctc): 59cm (23.5in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27in
This is a large Dawes city bike from the 1980s – its had one previous owner, a monk at Ampleforth College! Its only been lightly used. Its in excellent condition except for the wheels with chrome steel rims which do have some corrosion. Could easily be converted to fixed or singlespeed. £79
MERCIAN KING OF MERCIA Nervex Pro 1967
Seat Tube (ctt): 25.5in (65cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 24.5 (62cm)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C with brake drop of 60mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
This is the largest Mercian frame I have seen - it’s a King of Mercia - for a few years Nervex Pro lugs were an option on King of Mercias. The paint is not in bad condition but has been badly touched up in quite a number of places. The frame however shows no signs of pitting under the paint and is straight. It would make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. £195
KEN BIRD?/ARGOS TRACK FRAME
Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm (22.25in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 48mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This frame has been converted by Argos with track ends. I suspect it originally started off as a close clearance TT frame with steep angles and it was suggested to me that the frame number (BBC169) meant that it originated from Ken Birds shop … BBC standing for Birds Bicycle Centre). I think that is quite likely as in the 70s and early 80s he specialised in TT frames with drilling such as this one has in the BB. Whatever it now makes an excellent track frame. £185
WOODRUP ROAD FRAME 1960s
Seat Tube (ctt): 53cm (21in),
Top Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C with brake drop of 55mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted tubing
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Woodrup frame dates I think from the 1960s and needs a full restoration - this is reflected in its price. However the frame is perfectly sound with just a couple of very small dents to the top tube and filling these and painting should be straightforward. It would be easy to use as a singlespeed or fixed. £75
REG BARNETT ROAD FRAME
Seat Tube (ctt): 53cm (21in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 52mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing; Reynolds 531 double butted
This Reg Barnett road frame from the 1970s is in very good/excellent condition. It will make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. £95
CARPENTER ROAD FRAME 1962
Seat Tube (ctt): 55cm (21.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size 27s or 700C with brake drop of 60mm
Carpenter was one of the best craftsman framebuilders of the 1930s/50s – the lugs on this frame have a beautiful clean shoreline with not a hint of braze in the wrong place and are filed perfectly evenly; it is rare to see frames built with so much care. The paint is the original and a set of repro decals for the down tube tube would make this frame look very presentable. With horizontal dropouts its easily used as a singlespeed or fixed. £145
PEARSON MOTOBECANE SPECIAL PRO ROAD FRAME Columbus SL
Seat Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C with 50mm of brake drop
Frame tubing: Columbus SL
Bottom bracket threads: British
This frame though decalled up as a Pearson is a Motobecane Special Pro from the late 1970s. Motobecane frames were ridden in the 1970s to a Tour De France win and their Team was one of the top continental pro road teams. This frame, the European equivalent of the Team Pro sold in the USA is built from Columbus SL tubing and dates from around 1978. Its in very sound useable condition. It will make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. You will find it difficult to find a Columbus SL frame of equivalent quality for less than £150 - its just £95.
RALEIGH MIXTE FRAME
Seat Tube (ctt): 19.5in (50cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.5in (55cm)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C with brake drop 57mm
This Raleigh mixte frame is in very sound condition and would make an excellent budget fixie or singlespeed town bike... £39
CLAUD BUTLER COMPETITOR ROAD FRAME c1979
Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 45mm)
Seatpost size: 26.4mm
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531
This Claud Butler road frame from the late 1970s is in very nice condition with paint in extremely useable condition. It will make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion and has reasonably close clearances. £79
