Am thinking about getting a pair and wanted some opinions from anyone who's tried them, thanks.

  • I would also like to hear any opinions. Used the forum search to no avail. There is this, for anyone else interested: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/clothing/shoes/product/street-shoes-09-33900

  • true style and performance come from within.

  • Hey guys, Had these 2 months or so. love em. Quite a slim fit for cyc shoes which fit my feet to a T. Love how the tread is super walkable, still v stiff for when on your bike though. I purely bought them for that reason as said by other online reviews but also they look stylish - no garish graphics.

Used these initially with eggbeaters (they actually died in 5 mins cycling the length of dalston lane fucking rubish!) and now with spds. cleats perfectly hidden by tread for walking and sits well on both these types of pedals (cool with atacs too although i only went round the block)

  • Is there a cycling shoe which just looks like a normal trainer? I'd feel like a right melvin wearing these out and about

  • Mission Workshop Rondell for a 'normal' looking shoe?

My better half has the Bontrager street shoes, and gets on with them really well, with eggbeaters, and SPD's. They also look good, I would probably have a pair if I didnt have silly shaped feet.

  • I like the look of them. The velcro still looks a bit spaccy, but I quite like.

Here's a good source for alternatives:

  • I like. and a good price too.

  • I have a pair of street shoes. Very happy with them! They are on the narrow side so be warned.

    Q. When fitting the cleats, are you supposed to remove the rubber inserts? My screws were not long enough without doing so.
