  • Mal and I walked from Ealing to Liverpool Street today (27k) via Hyde Park to feed the squirrels, look at stuff and visit a couple of pubs.

Spotted someone riding near Chiswick Green Common(?) with a girl. He had a stickered tri-spoke thing and she was on a geared bike I think.

Spotted this morning show bloke (Adrian Chiles) near Shepherds Bush. He looked at me like I was going to mug him.

    Spotted some squirrels. Job done.

Usually I'm anti-walking but this was nice. Walking is where it's at for 2011.

Mal has a massive blister on her little toe which got us some bonus giggles when we got home.

  • Walking's the tits. Walking aimlessly at great length with my headphones on is one of my very favourite things to do.

  • What's 27K in a proper distance measurement?

  • What's 27K in a proper distance measurement?

    27 kilometres.
    27000 metres
    2700000 centimetres

    You get the idea.

  • To the naughty step with you sir.

  • I love walking but not so much through towns and cities.

  • As a cyclist it's better to work with km dammit, you should embrace the km, become fluent in more units of measurement.

  • Never. I stop my ears to your madness.

  • I like walking if it's an 'exploration' rather than something I've seen before. We explored a bit so it was interesting. Otherwise all I can think is "this would be so much quicker by bike".

I'd like to explore 'oop north' on foot.

  • tight fncker, put some money on mals oyster card

Yes. Walking and looking. Just looking around.

Its the best way to see the buildings!

    Ha!

That's good beer money you're talking about wasting there.

  • ^fact!

  • Its the best way to see the buildings!

Industrial areas can be interesting but I'd still choose country side over urban for walking 90% of the time. I don't like people buildings remind me of people.

  • Don't walk!

Pro cyclists never walk anywhere, especially the roadies and endurance trackies, those fuckers even ride to the toilet from the track centre at Manc.

Fuck coffee. I can carry a stove for tea. Win.

  • walking is good at 120 bpm

  • It's half term, N.w and I will be doing lots of walking.

  • Walking feels weird.
