white hoods are very hard to come by s/hand & cheap. Have seen some Modolo NOS ones on ebay come up regularly.

^ I was also considering doing that, but I don't think the SRAMS go with my 80's frameset, and the hudz hoods are very model specific. Specifically to modern levers.
I might be in touch Mister Bump, depnds on whether I go for a cheapo one I've found minus a lockring.

They go beautifully with my 1980s frame
They can't be that rare can they? Would like some aero levers with white hoods. Nothing fancy, just would like them to be white.
Also need a dura ace 9 speed cassette.
