Get the KMC 11-spd specific links, they're designed for Campag 11spd, work fine, can be re-used, available from Ribble. 11spd disasters are expensive.

I've heard that Campagnolo 11spd chains work reasonably well with 10spd Sram Powerlinks, since Sram 10spd chains are slightly narrower than Shimano equivalents. Anyone had any first-hand experience with this or similar setups? Do they work?
The reason I'm asking is that I'm trying to avoid buying the £150 Campy tool. Plus Campagnolo recommends against using more than two of their connectors on the same chain since I assume each one weakens the chain somewhat, this means the same chain can only be reconnected twice, which is not so good for people like me who likes to take the chain off for cleaning. Although Powerlinks can't be reused, they are still a lot cheaper than chains.
I'm mostly looking to use the Powerlink as a temporary fix as I need to get the bike running again this week. I know KMC has some new 11spd-compatible connectors and chains, but none of the local shops have any right now. I'll try the KMC option once they are available.
