What is Knoops? My Concorde has a Knoops decal on it...

Knoops is a bike shop in Mierlo, NL. Had their own frames built in Italy. Now sell plastic Taiwan frames only I suppose...

I took son's bike to somewhere near Achterveld (5 years ago?) for a repair to the rear hanger- during the International week ( I camped with the horses!) the shop sold Colnago frames as well as Koga and had an upstairs showroom as well as a downstairs and repiar section- Knoops? They fixed the gear changing probs and charged precisely nothing but a smile.
There was a Titanium Colnago in there in the most beautiful blue..........the credit card was jumping around like mad, I did come away with some cheap Shimano shoes though....
I do know we (Hilary Stone & me) went to Meirlo and Hils took me to the most fabulous Squeeze box (Accordion) & music shop- loads of every shape and colour of Accordion all round x 3 sides of the shops on all the shelves, wonderful.
Happy days! And I'd like to go back again too.
