MCR Polo Xmas Awards Dinner

Sounding everyone out re. an MCR POLO Xmas Awards Dinner social in December.... thinking a bit of a communal feed followed by voting for various annual awards and prizegiving, then bar, then crazed jigging about.

Please suggest dates, venues etc. so that we can make some sense of the corporate desire.... or if you think it sucks, humbug!

Awards - thinking the following MCR POLO categories (please add more for consideration)...

• Tourney of the Year
  
• The Dick Move Trophy
  Once we've nailed the categories, we will list nominations here and on the night. Each attendee then makes their vote in secret, all votes then counted and winners announced live... all votes by mobile phone may cost extra, check with your provider. Happy to compere (unless anyone else steps up...) in black tie, natch.... ;-)

a venue somewhere fairly central to where we're planning to go drinking afterwards would probably be best. knowing myself i'll stuff my face, so a long cycle afterwards would suck.

re dates, work is mental all the way through december so the earlier the better for me.

friday 10th is perfect for me. I cant do any date the week after, i'm working nights from monday 13th - friday 17th

cant do a meal on the 10th buy could catch the after party

My work do Fri 10th... How about we all got to the Globe with Nes's lot next week...?
