Whats the history on the Witcomb?
Well I bought it from Witcombs in 2006/7 before all the prices went up and they moved to Wales. It was a student loan purchase and I never rode it much and canabalised the forks for another project, a bit stupid really but there we go. Its geometry is tight at the rear, but quite generous at the front and its made from 531 tubing.
Feel free to ask any further questions.

They are 1 inch threaded. Although if you are refering to steerer length, I will have to check for you.

The steerer length is 12.3cm long with 2.1cms of that threaded. It was for a 20inch seat tube road frame.

Im afraid I dont't know the material, although it is 531 or higher (or columbus equivalent) . I have now posted a pic with wheels, although the chainstay measurement from the centre of the BB to the centre of the dropout is about 41.5cm.
Cheers
BRIAN ROURKE road frame
Seat Tube: c-t-t 54cm
Top Tube: c-t-c 55cm
Seat post diameter: 27.2
Comes with a Shimano 105 headset.
NEW DETAILS:
Tubing: 531 professional
Circa: 1985
21.5"x 21.5"
74 degree head and seat tube
Condition:
Used, the paintwork has a few scratches and the first cable run on the top tube is damaged (SEE PICS). Also the forks aren't original. However the chrome is in good condition and the overall appearance of the frame is still impressive. The rap over seatstays on the seat tube lug are a particularly nice touch (see pics). £100
