  • Great cranks these perfect for track 170 lengh I have been using them at Manchester Velodrome without any issues they were road but I had the backs taken off by machine strong straight and light with 49T stronglight track ring in good order.

  • Fuckin' povos stop calling dibs if you don't have coin. I'd have these lovely things except I already own a set and I'm moving to external eventually anyway. Have a bump.

  • yeah, but hippy these are not the "magic" 165's

and they are a bloody good bargain, i would have snapped these up if i was looking for a decent set of cranks.

Just by way of expansion in case anyone is being put off by the fact they are 170s...

The only reason 165s became so popular was bc of fixed road conversions needing a bit more room to mitigate peddal strike.

I ran 170s on an old track frame and* never once* got peddal strike. And tbh even on a road frame I still doubt there would be any probs on 170s.

BLB sell basically the same crank with a little njs stamp on the back (and no chainring) for ~£200. These need to go today!

  • indeed 5mm is nothing

  • I recently got a similarly filed set of DA 7410 cranks off kingcutter 170mm - I'm very happy with them.

    Have another bump...

  • Jimmy Tiswas has said he wants them I have sent him a message about payment if he does not get back in touch they are yours and 170 is not an issue.

What is the model number of kingcutters 7402 DA cranks in the track version?

Would both have the same chainline?

Oh, of course. I forgot all cranks are inferior to the legend of the 165mm.

Can we get some 165mm is teh awesome t-shirts?

Chainline should be same usually the difference is the rear is counter sunk.

And thanks to Hippy for input dibs can be a pain and yes to awesome 165 but in brackets I will settle for 170 lol

  • Cheers Dan payment received

    Cranks Sold

  • Hmmm... do you think 175mm cranks would cause a pedal strike problem with a 280mm clearance (bb centre to floor) track frame?

  • Depends how fast you try and corner, innit.

  • And how high you go up the track.

  • And the pedals, no? Anyone have a recommendation for a nice and narrow pedal? MKS GR-9? Old Campag Platform stuff?

  • Some of the TT riders use 175's but they never go above the black
