For Sale: Zeus hubs/Ambrosio Elite rims road wheelset black 700c 7sp

A pair of nice 1980s Zeus new racer hubs (with the nice old style skewers) laced to Ambrosio Elite 19mm black laquered rims.

Hubs are in very good condition, no rust, no play, spinning freely. Rims also in good condition, but of course some paint has disappeared from braking surface. [strike]There's 1 spoke missing from the rear wheel.[/strike] Including 7 speed SunRace [strike]cassette[/strike] freewheel.

Is it possible to replace the missing spoke, without re doing it?

Also, is it possible to convert to 9 spd shimano?

The reason I advertised the set like this is that I don't have the right tools for taking the cassette off. But it should be quite easy to have your LBS replace just the one spoke.

Sorry mate, still tring to work out the 7 -9 spd conversion. My first geared build, so I'm a bit confused. Can I just pop on a 9 spd cassette or will it need redishing?

you can't just pop a 9 spd cassette on these 'classic' hubs, these are not freehubs
