Because it costs pennies in overheads, and if 1 person in 20,000 replies then its easy monies.

They work well for me. I usually get about £12-15K per month from these.

So do I. I think sometimes the 419 hunters go too far. Mind you, there have been some really awful cases of people being scammed, so some way of reacting to/controlling that is definitely in order.
