  • Ryde Pier, 11:30 pm.
200 yards of pier. first 10 metres, my front wheel (on my condor team beauty) takes a plunge through the slats, 25kmh ish, flat on face (helmet now help) but no teeth out (lucky), just a lot of blood, two fat lips and what looks like some kind of STi 3 days later all over my face...
    Sue?

  • Sue has just popped out. Can I help?

    Yourself maybe.

This goes down to user error. heal up.

  • It's all about the Ryde.

  • Don't have a cowes man.

  • Sue has just popped out. Can I help?

This is a glaring omission from the cycle training forum.

I feel that you missed the boat on this one, Will.

  • It's all about the Ryde.

    Vapour trail?

  • Euph?

would it have been so very difficult to have added 'emism' on to the end of that?
    Blimey, the euph of today.

  • What the fuck were you expecting?

    Peer support?

  • Peer support?

  • I'm all out of emp for the day, I'm afraid.

    Fixed.

  • ^Ha! Pwned by the Schick

  • peer support. anyone? i didn't get it from anyone else. even the nurse who stopped and helped clean me up told me i was a dickhead...

it's very depressing when it's your own fault...

  • Andy did say 'heal up'. I concur. It's just slightly hard to keep a straight face on a thread posted in the late evening with such a desperately unfortunate scenario that was your own fault. Hope you get better soon.

  • Sue has just popped out. Can I help?

    Euph?

I want to rep both, but as one.

  • The only strange thing is that no-one has yet asked how your bike is.

  • How's your bike?

  • peer support. anyone? i didn't get it from anyone else. even the nurse who stopped and helped clean me up told me i was a dickhead...

    Maybe you have sea legs?

  • Morecombe to the thread and wise advise is given.

  • Ramsey what we can do to help.

  • Blimey, you were jetty sonned

  • Lucky you didn't suffer a groyne strain

  • It would apier that this has gone a bit off topic

  • Don't the black pool of despair get you down - Your day will brighton up. Hasting along probably wasn't worthing it.

Sometimes, what you've done, which may or may not be your fault, or irrespective of how great the injury to your mouth is, can leave you with a scar, bro. When people suffer like that, there are always others around to shore 'em up.
