For Sale: Racing Bikes: Concorde, Gios, MBK, Godefroot and more

For sale on Broadway Market in Hackney as of this Saturday, a selection of continental racing stock of various vintages. I'll put up further details on the bikes as i can (or as is requested), but i just thought i'd add some pictures to whet the appetite such as it may be.

The bikes are all 53-57cm and come with a variety of components from Campag, Sachs, Mavic, Shimano, Galli some of which are very choice. These bikes will not be split however and will start at about £250. I hope you guys are interested. Get in touch if you want me to bring anything in particular to the stall (there might also be a possibility of meeting up in Hackney on Friday).

How much are the Gios and Vandewall (2nd and 4th) ones? And what sizes are the frames please?

In response to queries the Gios Vitus, which is carbon kevlar, is 56cm. Comes with Sachs New Success components (by Modolo), Record hubs and Mavic/some other Italian rim. The price on this will be £375.

The Frank Vandewall is now sold.

Any chance of some more info on the MBK? It's pretty...

It's pretty garish but it's in amazing condition, the best of the bikes here in that respect. Full 105 groupset inc pedals, Mavic rims in amazing condition. The frame is super-stiff - i don't think this bike has been ridden much if at all. Columbus SL tubing. 55 or 56cm from memory. I think considering this the price will be £350.

Okay, more bikes on the market this Saturday. The Frank Wandewall, Moser frame and purple 53cm are now sold but the others are still available. Revised price on the carbon Gios is £340. The others pictured above will be between £200 - £325, 325 for the very lightly used MBK with 105 groupset.

Other (large) bikes on Broadway Market this week, pictured below:

FLANDERS cyclo-cross, 58cm top tube c-2-c. Beautiful frame, nice pantographing. Mixed Shimano RSX/Exage groupset, cantilever brakes. The wheels in the pictures (tubs) have been replaced with Mavic MA2 on Record hubs. Price is £250

Supeira, 59cm c-2-c. Mostly Shimano 600. Excellent condition. £195

Gazelle 'Tour de l'Avenier', 60cm c-2-c. Mix of Campagnolo Nuevo Record, SR Campag copies, Modolo and Dura-Ace components. Mavic MA40 wheels have Campag hubs. Bike is in amazing condition hence £275.

There will be some other beater racers from £150 and also loads of Dutch bikes from Batavus, Gazelle as always.

There will be four or five bikes at less than £200 and most will be less than 250. The Superia for example, the Flanders, Godefroot.. Some of the racing bikes will be around 150. A contribution to the forum for each bike sold as a result of the publicity here is totally fair.
