A waterproofed courier bag is the answer.

Many of the bag makers do waterproof inner sleeves too.

I've carried mines for 3 years+ in a padded rucksack with laptop compartment, still going strong. I guess a neoprene sleeve would be a good choice.

Yeah, the waterproof courier is the goal, but the funds aren't quite there for it yet.

I've got one of these I was going to sell on ebay:
http://www.marinescene.co.uk/product/6169/aquapac-seti-caseT'is more or less brand new (I tested it once - did the job!). £20 to you if you're interested.
Not much in the way of padding though (i.e. none)

My grandad used to have one of them hanging off his chair... Dunno what he kept in it.

I've got a Tucano sleeve for mine, not waterproof - but will protect it within another bag, no problem

When I read the title of this thread I thought that it was a rather inventive synonym for a lady part. I was, happily, wrong.

No no... You're thinking of Slippery Otters Pocket, something completely different.
Meanwhile, I went out and bought a Citizen from Condor and have ordered one of them Exped Crush dry bag things.
Job done.
This is Willis, signing off - dry as a bone.

Dry as a bone - Drizabone.
See you in jail. I'll bring cake. He'll know what to do.
I've just been given my new work laptop. Good news.
I went down to the shops just now to get a skin to protect it and whatnot while it's in my cycling bag and was pretty underwelmed with what was on offer.
I want something with next to no bulk, a bit of cushioning for it and waterproof, if possible.
What do you lot use to carry yours...?
Any advice or pointers as to what's good...?
Willis
