• Looking for a front brake caliper for a vintage build.
Needs to have a hex nut fixing and be in an okay condition.

Let me know what you got. Cheers

  • Hi are you looking for any particular maker? Do you require quick release on it , or do you have that on the brake lever?

  • Not too fussed on make but Campag would be nice and a quick release would also be good.

  • What depth of caliper do you need? I have some odds and bits. How vintage are we thinking about?

Not sure on the depth will measure it up later. If you've got some pics of what you've got PM me. cheers.

  • Measured the brake drop need about 47mm.

  • I think that I have some older Shimano calipers that would suit, or were you thinking of something older than that? Which I may have.

  • Sorry mate,I've checked the calipers that I was thinking of and although a nice pair, the bolt on the front one has been cut down to make it fit with a sunken socket nut and therefore the rear won't work for you either. Sorry to raise your hopes.
