BCU Wednesday 22nd Sept 10am-4pmWas thinking about distributing flyers to the most relevant societies, they can help spread the word as well as general spreading the word. I can hit BCU and Aston but I might not be able to do bham uni.
i think it'd be a good idea if 2 (or more) people went to each fair, with their polo bike, mallet and ball.
maybe whoever goes should have some sort of 'official' bike polo type t-shirt too (or at least matching colours) so we're coming across a bit more legit and not sketchy old dudes trying to pick up freshers.

Just taken delivery of a big load Franklin backdoor balls .The ball that is going to be the official sponsored ball for the BFF!
We used the same ball for throw ins for today for over 5 hours and they are Exactly the same as red super high density franklins 100% . So good to use decent franklins again . Everyone is happy . Crap pics from my phone below ........

okay, this is typically lame, but looking like a no-go for tomorrow. no flyers to give out (my printer is knackered and i didn't really want to do a couple of hundred at work...) and i'm feeling pretty unenthusiastic about brum polo at the moment.
we'll have to make up for it by getting flyers out into bars, shops, universities, colleges etc when we get them.
going to spend the time trying to find about a venue for this winter tournament idea.

Otherwise Birmingham must be the city with the most motorway flyovers ever! There must be a basketball/five aside pitch under a flyover somewhere around brum - Anyone? I know theres one in Manc near the uni beneath a flyover. Maybe we should organise an exploration ride exploring the concrete delights that are the uk motorway network?
