any ideas would be greatly appreciated- so i have a pagganini sioux sl columbus rd bike, i want a single speed but i cant bring myself to convert this as i think it was ment to have all the gears and what not etc- it has a little bit for hanging a race number on.
i'm going on a month cycle in sumatra in january and need a bike for that cus mine has no lugs for rear paniers and the wheels are just not hard core enough.
so i cant afford to get a bike for this and a single speed so i want a frame that will be okay to carry paniers on rear that i can later convert to single speed.
i quite want to build up the bike myself- iv already steam bent some ash handle bars
oh i kind of need some good trye clearance as i might put 35's on oh and i like retro or simple looking frames
did i put this in the right section- i'm new, oh no

Formatting Help
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
