I got this bike a month or so ago, turns out its a touch big for me. It was advertised as the 54cm version, which its not :)

I presume its a Clubman, the stickers have come off and someone has hand painted the text on, so its no 100% deal. But saying that, I had a look for the original pictures, the paintwork looks the same and it has all the same bits that the original had so it makes sense that its the Clubman. The hand painting looks a bit naff, so could do with a repaint to restore it nicely (or just remove the handpaint!). If anyone is interested the frame number is W1 500582. Maybe it will help you track down any additional information.

Sadly, while I had it, the front wheel has been robbed! Bah!
The pictures show it with a 700cc front wheel, but its not included as its off my other bike.. Just popped it on so you can see the proportions. For the record the brakes seem to reach just fine to 700cc rims. (It takes 27" wheels originally)

While it had its front wheel, it all worked fine (could do with a new chain, current one is a bit rusty / squeaky). Gears shifted smoothly and the brakes were fine. Bottom bracket was spinning smoothly, as was the headset.
I did start to install some safety style levers, but to be honest, now I've realised its the incorrect size I've given up on it. It'll come with the original Weinmann Levers if you don't fancy the other ones. You'll notice the bar tape is gone on one side, again was just part of the process, needs replacing, its almost pink :)
Comes with the original mud guards, but as far as I can see the front of the front mudguard has been removed... Still attached fine though and will keep your feet dry which is the main thing.

So yeah, a new wheel and 10 minutes TLC on the brakes and you've got yourself a half decent ride.

Reynolds 531 frame, with nice lugs, measuring 57cm from center of BB to top of top tube & 57cm top tube (centre to centre)

Has braze-ons for gear cable (on chainstay), cable guide on top of BB, cable guides on side top tube, F&R mudguard eyes.

Saddle: Brown suede, padded, vinyl base.
Brakes: Raleigh Weinmann 610 alloy center pull. I have the original Weinmann levers which I'll include, and also the installed (as photographed) safety pull versions.
Age: 1980s
Gears: All Suntour stuff. Not sure about the Cranks, no names on it but says K6 Made in France.
