Theoretical Girl.
done a few gigs with her off of theoretical girl. she doesn't like me. the week after i'd done a gig with her in camden my band popped up on the same as her bill in coventry. i wandered over to say hi and she treated me like some rabid stalker. i was drunk to be fair, but i was only trying to be polite. stupid girl more like.

Who's your band? One of Fanfarlo's on here too, or used to be.
She used to go out with my mate, we used to go see her in the hope they'd re-kindle their love but I think she'd moved on. Sweet little album, a little insipid in places, but catchy.

i liked her stuff too, but i'm a sucker for 60s girlgroups, cheesy drum machines and sassy lyrics. i love dig piney gir, the pipettes etc.
who's a fanfarlo? mate of mine's a huge fan of theirs... he's in the smoke fairies (and several other rather good bands).

Yeah big fan of girl groups here too, and anyone who caries their baton now. The Toys album is one of the best EVAR.

On a lush 60's production tip, that last Gigi album 'Maintainent' is being spun regularly round my way.

That Rose Elinor Dougal track for some reason reminded me of a Japanese indie band Im surprisingly rather fond of.
