cyclotron tubs and clinchers are incompatible do not try and mix and match.

k, is it easy to change the tubular tyre, it seems soooo much hassle to glue the tyre onto the rim.
-
• #9
if you don't know how to change a tub (as I expect most of us on here do not), you don't want to even think about riding on one around London.
-
• #10
I assume you're removing it because it's punctured? Have you tried a sealant like Vittoria Pit Stop first?
-
• #11
erm its not punctured , its just a very old tyre which looks a bit tatty, kinda wanted to get rid of it and put new ones on. p.s. i dont live in london so thumbs up for tubs?

what you do is, find the search button, then you enter 'tubular'- this will give you lots of threads on the same subject -

sticking tubs onto rims for general purpose use is a lot easier with rim tape, forget glue, and they ride very nicely. disclaimer: riding competition really requires glue
