    ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL

Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…

AENDE LO-PRO FRAME c1986 Columbus Air tubing
    Seat Tube (ctt): 53cm (21in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 125mm
    Wheel size: Rear Sprints/700C, Front 650C (26in)
Aende frames were built in Nottingham by Pop Braithwaite. He specialized in time trial frames - this one is built from the radical Columbus Air tubing and comes complete with headset, BB and the special teardrop shape seatpost (I do not have any other Columbus Air seatposts for sale). The frame is a wonderful tour de force. I will include a 650C tubular front wheel. £195

CLAUD BUTLER COMPETITOR ROAD FRAME c1979
    Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 45mm)
    Seatpost size: 26.4mm
    Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531
This Claud Butler road frame from the late 1970s is in very nice condition with paint in extremely useable condition. It will make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion and has reasonably close clearances. £85

HOLDSWORTH SIROCCO ROAD FRAME 1951 Incredibly fancy lugs
    Seat Tube (ctt): 59cm (23.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 115mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of 63mm
    Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
The Sirocco was introduced in 1951 and features some truly fancy handcut lugs – the model was renamed the Whirlwind the following year. This frame is in very sound condition and the paint is useable though not original. It would make a very cool fixed or singlespeed conversion. £175

    CHAS ROBERTS ROAD FRAME c1979
    Seat Tube (ctc): 51cm (20in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 51cm (20in)
    Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 52mm)
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
This gorgeous small Chas Roberts frame dates from about 1979/80 - its in very good/excellent condition. It would make a very cool fixed or singlespeed conversion. £195

RALEIGH TEAM PRO 753 ROAD FRAME 1983
    Seat Tube (ctt): 53cm (21in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
    Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 45mm)
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 753
    Seatpost size: 27.0mm
This Raleigh Team Pro road framewas made at the Raleigh Ilkeston plant run by Gerald O’Donovan. In autumn 1974 Raleigh established a specialist workshop (SBDU) capable of frame building to the very highest standards at Ilkeston in Derbyshire. Frames were built for the Ti-Raleigh continental pro team from the very beginning. They produced the only British frame to ever win the Tour de France (Joop Zoetemelk, 1980). The unit worked with Reynolds in developing Reynolds 753 and the first frames were tested by the Ti-Raleigh team in 1974. Genuine Ilkeston frames can be identified by frame numbers with 1 to approx 9500, prefixed SB. For a company as large as Raleigh, the SBDU was quite an unusual operation. Its production capacity was modest – at a maximum only about 1000 frames or so a year from about four framebuilders. SBDU frames were mostly built in stock designs except for the actual team frames.

This frame dates from 1983 and is one of the last ones built from metric sized Reynolds 753 tubing – Reynolds 753 tubing for some unknown reason was only manufactured in metric sizes (26mm top tube, 28mm down and seat tubes) until 1983. Its in very sound condition with just a small dent to the top of the left hand chainstay. It has at some time been repainted in later Raleigh colours. £195

CARLTON CAPELLA ROAD FRAME 1974 Reynolds 531 double butted tubing
    Seat Tube (ctt): 53cm (21in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
    Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C with brake drop of 65mm
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Carlton road frame was built at the Worksop works in 1974 with the rather pvely and cool Capella lugs – I do not know which model it was as the Capella lug was not standard on any of the catalogue models at the time – it’s most likely the Carlton equivalent of the Raleigh International... However it it is built from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing. Its in very sound condition with extremely attractive paint. £95

PAT ROHAN ROAD FRAME 1970s Nervex Pro lugs
    Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 55.5cm (21.75in)
    Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C with brake drop of 60mm
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
The Pat Rohan shop was in Pinner ( I believe it might still be there) and the frames in the 1970s and early 80s were built by Ron Thomas... This frame is in sound condition though the paint is poor. It is built from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing and has the chunky double taper seatstays that were were popular in the 1970s. It will make a very easy conversion. £63

CARLTON CLUBMAN ROAD FRAME 1977 ** NEW AND UNUSED**
    Seat Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
    Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of approx 58mm)
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531 main tubes
This brand new and never used Carlton Clubman road frame dates from 1977. It is built with Nervex Professional lugs and Reynolds 531 main tubes. It is in virtually perfect condition with just a few dirty marks to the paint but no scratches or chips. Its very unusual to find a frame in such a brilliant condition. It will make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. £125

    WITCOMB ROAD FRAME
    Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 115mm
Wheel size: 27s or sprint/700C with brake drop of 65mm
    Seatpost size: 26.4mm
This Witcomb road frame is built from Nervex Serie Legere lugs and probably Reynolds 531 plain gauge tubing. Its in very sound condition and would make a very straightforward fixed/singlespeed conversion. £79
