For Sale: Miss Marmalade Makes More Mess

At the risk of rousing mergatron from his slumber I'll venture a new thread:

Thanks to some initial over-enthusiasm in the orange-buying department and the wondrous power of the deep freeze, I am pleased to announce the release of more marmalade goodness to these LFGSS shores. I think some sunny orange flavour is just what we need in this weather, and on a Friday afternoon.

This batch of marmalade is introverted, grown up, grumpy and it will bully your toast. Just like marmalade should.

It also comes in bigger jars to allow for proper sized portions. 450g.

Got a few small jars of a lighter, more delicate variety marmalade too (for wimps): £2

I've also been foraging in the brambles and out of there I conjured this sweet and sticky Blackberry Jam. It's got caramelish tones to it. I like it, maybe you will too. It's mainly in smaller jars, but there's a couple of larger jars too.

Small jar: £2

Lastly, I've been experimenting. This is for people who just can't leave well alone. I have two jars of Blackberry Jam infused with star anise. I quite like it, but I've got odd taste. It's like those blackcurrent and licorice sweets. Actually, sod the jam - I'm going to go away and make some gin infused with blackberry and star anise.

Ah, Wayne - Gooseberry jam! NOW you're talking. Need to find gooseberries....last saw some in Wales watching Matth race, sat a the finish line and tried to eat a whole punnet. If anyone has any sources, hook me up....
