Bike festival help (nes? nasty?)

so im hoping to start a bike festival early next year along the lines of what yo fixie used to be but with bmx and mtb and all bikes in general
i think ive aquired a space and got permission to build a velodrome along the lines of the red bull mini-drome event
but i was wonderining what kind of red tape you guys had surrounding the yo fixie event because im trying to make this event as legitimate as possible
maybe even get a road closed off and im even thinking of trying to get sustrans and the ctc on board so any info you think could help please post it up and i will hopefully be able to place dates up soon cheers
