is the lo pro sold or not?
Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out another lot of interesting and bargain frames. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

VAN HESTE LO-PRO FRAME c1989 suitable for fixed Unused
Seat Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in), 59cm centre to top of seat tube
Top Tube (ctc): 54.5cm (21.4in)
Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: 700C rear, 650C front
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Belgian built lo-pro frame is unused though it does appear as if it has been partly built up at some time – however it is essentially unused. The paint is virtually perfect with just one or two very small marks. It is really very light so must have been built from pretty lightweight double butted tubing. It has horizontal dropouts so would be ideal to be used as a fixed/singlespeed conversion. £165
RALEIGH 501 AERO FRAME c1984
Seat Tube (ctt): 21in (53cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 50mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 501 reshaped to aero on seat and down tubes
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
This Raleigh road frame was built around 1984 from Reynolds 501 tubing which Raleigh reshaped to an aero profile on the seat and down tubes. Its in very sound condition though the frame does have quite a number of small rust marks – these could easily be retouched to make the appearance very presentable. The gear hanger has been damaged so it will be ideal as a fixed or singlespeed conversion rather than as a geared bike. £45 SOLD
EMPEROR SPORT ROAD FRAME c1980
Seat Tube (ctt): 61cm (24in)
Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 50mm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 butted
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Emperor Sport Cycles was a well known bike shop on the edge of Sutton run by Mick Coward. This is a really rather good road frame from around 1980 – it would be ideal as an Audax or Sportive frame with clearances for guards with 25/28mm tyres. It would also make a great fixed or singlespeed conversion. £95
MERCIAN OLYMPIQUE 1963 Nervex Serie Legère lugs
Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 62mm)
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Mercian Olympique from 1963 has the remains of its original finish including th model specific down-tube decal which is really rather special. As with all period Mercians its built from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing and has Nervex Serie Legère lugs. The frame is in very sound condition. It would make a very straightforward fixed or single speed conversion. £89 SOLD
RALEIGH MISTY MIXTE FRAME 1970s/80s
Seat Tube ctc: 22in (53cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of 60mm
Seatpost size: 25.4mm
This Raleigh Misty mixte frame is in very good condition and is ideal for fixed or single speed conversion or for use as a geared flat barred city bike. £59
CLAUD BUTLER ROAD FRAME Early 1950s Reynolds 531
Seat Tube (ctt): 22in (56cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.25in (56.5cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C (with brake drop of 63mm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
Seatpost size: 26.4mm
This is an early 1950s Claud Butler road frame built from Reynolds 531 plain gauge tubing. Its in very sound condition and will make an excellent fixed or singlespeed conversion. £75 SOLD
UNKNOWN MAKER ROAD FRAME 1950s Attractively filed and thinned lugs
Seat Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 115mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 55mm)
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
This frame from the 1950s has lots of really nice little details and beautifully filed and thinned lugs. I do not know who the builder was and if it was not for the fact that the BB threads are English I might have thought this frame was French. Whatever it’s a nice quality frame built from double butted tubing which would make a cool fixed or singlespeed conversion. £79
WOODRUP ROAD FRAME c1985 25in
Seat Tube (ctt): 63.5cm (25in)
Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 46mm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Road frames as large as this are really rather uncommon - this Woodrup built one from the mid 1980s is really rather nice. Its paint is in very useable condition though does have quite a number of marks. £145
SARONNI ROAD FRAME by Colnago ** NEW AND UNUSED** Columbus SL
Seat Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 53.5cm (21in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 45mm)
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Columbus SL
Saronni was one of the top Italian riders of the 1970s/80s winning the world championships in 1982 and the Giro D’Italia in 1983. To celebrate this Colnago produced this special model - the Saronni Giro D’Italia. This frame is new and unused and is a very rare special Colnago model. It is in excellent condition with one or two small shopwear marks but nothing at all significant. £425
ADORNI ROAD FRAME 1970s
Seat Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 53mm)
Seatpost size: 26.2mm
This is a rather cool Adorni Italian road frame from the 1970s. Its in very sound condition - the decals are bit marked and there are some scrapes to the paint but it is very useable... And will make a very easy conversion to fixed or singlespeed. £89
