bumtree is good for that sort of thing- I got a Dahon off there recently
Bromptons are the expensive end of the market- others are cheaper and do the same job

Yeah I've seen thanks Diablo, but the majority look pretty shifty to me - I feel slightly more comfortable buying off LFGSS.
I know Bromptons are expensive, but I think particularly in the folding bikes market, price does really constitute quality.. I think.

Bromptons are real pricey, but are they really worth the money?

I have one from 1994. Which is like new, and I mean, like new. I'm based in Sheffield, but the Brompton is in London. PM me if you're interested and we can sort something out.

Are you still looking? I need to advertise my 7 speed Brompton SP. It's pretty unusual for a Brompton, and has a 7 speed SRAM hub, front suspension, and V brakes. It's a nice deep shade of blue.
Hi there,
Looking for a Brompton bike for a little town runabout. Will also look at similar folding bike sorts. Preferably the S-type but flexible, also preferably not a loud colour.. will probably looking knob-ish enough as it is!
Budget is also flexible, please show me what you've got.
Many thanks.
