Gathering steam nicely. Get your non-forum-using mates with fixies to come down too. A plan is being formulated as we speak.

Would an entry fee provide a good cash incentive to win or perhaps prizes and drinkies after / during?
-
• #14
I don't know the time or first meeting yet or if the entry fee will work.

Eek. 2pm is a bit early i think? I was thinking more closer to 7 or so.
Reason being there is a Sportive that morning, not sure i will be back by 2.£5 entry, in a pot. Winner takes all.

• #16
7? Light might be an issue if its a long race, 5 might be better? - or even sack off the sportive and get there for two?
Love the £5 entry idea winner takes all... Winner buys first round at the fiddlers also? -

Alright, finalising this.
7pm at the Fiddlers on Sunday 29th August.
Surprise theme this time. Free Entry, bet with each other if you want. I just do this for fun.
Harvey, bring prizes if you can, I'm skint ^_^

Nice one for that Matt. As you didn't come down for Polo Thursday I made up my own theme for the race. Also, not too sure about letting geared bikes compete - not in an elitist way, just think that they get a massive advantage on hills.
So, the summer is rapidly dying and along with it go the indian dreams of sunshine 'til November. We should hold a ritual to convince our Sol to show its face for just a wee bit longer. I propose this ritual should take place on the last Sunday of this month (29th Aug) in the form of a PhotoCAT race.
In a change to the usual setup, I think it would be cool to pick a start point that we could all convoy to after meeting up at the Fiddler's. That way we could pose our way through town and get each other all stoked-up for the race.
Thoughts, spoke cards, suggestions, COMPETITORS are all welcome.
