  • Hi everyone,

With great regret, I'm being forced to sell my Bike. The specs are as follows:

-Dave Quinn frame and forks, Reynolds 753, lugged, 56cm
    -Shimano Dura-Ace Headset
    -Nitto Jag 110mm Stem, NJS
    -Nitto B125 Aluminium Bars, NJS
    -Soma Grips
-Mavic Crankset 170mm (not sure which it is)
    -Campagnolo 53 tooth Chainring
    -H+Son on the back
    -White Deep V (painted black)
-Set of Halo hubs,(white/black) back is double fixed.
-2 Euro Asia Imports Cogs 20t/19t. The 19t has slight rust marks but was bought about 3 months ago and has never been used.
    -KMS Chain
    -MKS Sylvain Pedals
    -MKS NJS Clips

Everything works perfectly and is ready to ride.

The frame is a Dave Quinn, the serial number is visible on the underside of the bottom bracket shell and i have tried to include pictures. I'm not sure of the frame's age, but if you contacted him he may be able to let you know.

As you can see in the pictures, unfortunately the frame has two dings on the top tube. The top tube however is completely straight and strong. Other marks are just scratches in the paint and do not affect the actual frame.

The bars/stem have slight scratches on the top from riding around and general use but are not damaged or bent in any way.

The seat is a San Marco Regal but is pretty haggard, I can include it or leave it out.

I will include a set of new black leather double straps and maybe a new back tyre.

I'm moving abroad in 2 weeks and need to sell this before then as i can't take it with me and i'm flat broke. Don't wanna split it.

Looking for £450, any questions etc, just PM me.

    Thanks!

Both dings are visible in the last picture

  • ye, im going into 3rd year philosophy there. I just remember locking up next to yours a couple of times and lusting over it, i'm on a blue and white simonelli normally outside the print room. Anyway, sorry for spamming your sale, beautiful bike and for a good price, i'd be tempted if it were a couple of cm bigger.

  • "Pater, but I don't want to be a stockbwoker - I want to be a bi-cycle couwier!"
    Bleedin' students ;-)

  • haha, i see that simonelli all the time, really really nice bike that. Always wondered who's it was. I'm about to go abroad for a year for my course hence the sale

  • nice frame. pity about the dings...

  • please can I come and have a test ride? very interested in making a purchase. It has no front brake? Can one be put on?

  • Hi mate, I see you aren't up for splitting. If you get desperate I'd take the frame, fork, headset, stem and bars. Let me know dude.

  • Can't reply to your first request but with regards to your 2nd, you can get clamp ons for non drilled forks. Just google and you shall be given the links. The clamp onto the fork blades and are removable thus preserving the 'non-drilled' status :)
