Also Wilson Ave but might be a bit out the way. Sussex St FTW

The second one is dangerously close to Whitehawk ;) and Sussex St is a graffiti area. I can't believe I didn't think of it before. Blaze suggested down Lewes Rd opp. the bus garage which I think is a good bet. Also, for winter times Lewes Rd Sainsbury's car park is quite likely. It's lit, the store closes and I've never had a kick-off for skating there.

So sussex street is just for graffiti? What? We can play there though right? Its close to cranks too, double win

nah, it's a basket-ball court. I dunno what the significance of it being a graffiti area was meant to be, it was just the association my mind made. I reckon it'll be good actually, boards all the way round.

Tarner is a hall of fame and no one seems to use it for B'Ball. It was suggested couple years back pre-polo.

i thought you were still marina way?

So i went up to Tarner.
It was 10-30 and the lights weren't on. Im guessing they are on a timer if anything at all.Lovly court. fresh surface. lines where you want them. good polo size.
a few things have changed since the googlemap photos however.
it now has a new fence all the way around. Same style as PP. Apart from the Gap under is larger than a Polo ball. All the way around. It would be worse than Brick Lane.If we could sort that out with some cheap ply. we have the perfect court.

I'm liking the look of the Sussex court. Will go along later from Cranks.

You can buy a pack of laminated floorboards pretty cheaply. Drill those, get some zip ties and we're away. I reckon we should give it a go
-
• #20
what about getting some of that free wood from the wood place next to grand parade?
-
• #21
could we thunderdome it one week?
but in all seriousness, how about queens park? though its prob not right.
-
• #22
this court was 2 secs from mine.
Also very close to cranksGraffiti howver is banned from there I beilieve.
You can go to snoopers paradise to see how it looked like before, they have a massive photo of it upstairs. -

A pack of Homebase laminated flooring is a tenner, 10 pieces 1380mm each so thats 13m of coverage. We might need two. That's always an option
Check out this ma' fucker!
Sussex Street - Fucking Awesomeness
Boards look better than preston park plus there may be less hassle getting on to play, I suggest a reccie. Who's in?
