Trade: Vintage 1930s Sunbeam lightweight

[SIZE=3]Offered is a 1930s lightweight. Apparently, it’s a Sunbeam; smallish frame is 54-55 cm/20" (ref no 21037), bottom bracket is Bayliss Wiley. The brakes are original Resillion brakes done over in black. I think the bars are Lauterwasser (they’re shaped like them, anyway). Underneath the tape they’re black. The rear hub is Sturmey Archer from July 1958. The HNL quadrant lever sits on the top tube. The bike has an original Brooks B15 Champion Standard saddle in good-ish condtion. The original resillion brakes are intact and working (although the rear needs the cable re-attaching). The tyres hold their air, the gears work, and it rides reasonably well. Basically, the reason for wanting to get rid is the new colour. When I acquired it, the bike had a really bad, ancient, all over black paintjob, so I sent it away for re-spraying. It came back purple! I no longer have the time nor inclination to sort it out. It’s all a bit intricate, with old screws and wingnuts and fragile cables, but hopefully, there’s someone on here who can use this. It's for sale or exchange. You might be better off splitting, as those bars (hope they weren't sprayed) are sought after, as are the brakes which are great for vintage track bikes as they can clamp on undrilled frames. The bottom bracket and cranks (williams?) are also worth something. It's not that much of a crime as it's not all period original anyway.

Are those 26 1/4 inch wheels?

Good tip - willing to split if it comes to it. Bars and stem, seat and pin, wheels etc. are fairly easily removed. Yes, wheels are 26"
