I bought this wheel on ebay last week with the intention of re spacing it to use either on my claud butler uswb tandem spaced at 126mm or on and old frame spaced at 120mm.

However the axle is specifically spaced at 137mm. Its a 12mm hollow steel axle machined down to 10mm at each end to allow it to fit a normal frame.
Can anyone shed any light on the hub ?
are different axle lengths available ?
