It's in perfect condition. I'd consider letting it go but for no less than the asking price.

I can vouch for Nikon D series' quality, it really is top notch.

TS I've got one of these too (evidence at http://flickr.com/iambenjam) and they're f*cking amazing. ?Best ever selling Nikon D (outsold the D90 for the whole first year) and I love it the same as I did the day I got it.
It doesn't do: video, dust shake off, in camera effects
It does do: cracking RAW, Great FPS at the price and it's bombproof (mine's been through the jungle, desert, on the mountain and even on the water)BUY IT.

Thanks Benjam and he is correct there is no video.
Also going for it is that the battery is designed for the bigger models, which means it lasts forever.
I also should have said, Any of the photos in colour on my flickr would have been taken with this camera so check it out (the black and white ones will be film)...

I'll swap you for a d40x, a fez, and a pair of magnetic clogs (blue).

Could you do £300 for the body, plus the 50 mm?
-
• #18
As a camera ignoramus please forgive this if it is a stupid question:
I have a Practica SLR (film) with a couple of lenses- would these work with other 35mm bodies such as this?
-
• #19
No.
Some will work with an adaptor though. Possible to run Canon lens on Nikon but not the other way around.
Google for an adaptor and check some forums.

You got that the wrong way around . . .

|That!
There was never a market for Nikon users to use a Canon lens :P
Nice Camera BTW. The Nikon D's are top notch. I started with a 70 at college, and worked my way to the 700, which is the Bees Bollocks. Stay away from the 100 though, unless its super cheap.

D700? Wow, that's a pricey bit of kit. You really do get what you pay for with the D-series though.

You have a PM
