Yup, the hard anodising on my Open Pro started to wear when I used a brake.
Standard coloured anodising is thinner/less robust so will wear quickly. -

Is a bit of a shitter, think ill keep my brakes though. Getting to Euston station turns out ive got a bigger problem

Hi
On my SE Lager I have a pair of Alex R500 rims, they have a blue anodised finish.
Ive only had the bike acouple of weeks, on my first ride in the wet ive lost a load of the blue anodising where the pads are on the rims.
I guess there was some gunk from the roads on the pads rims that caused the wear, its seems a bit quick for so much to come off though, is this normal for anodised rims?
Cheers
