Wanted: Campag Record Downtube Shifters for Braze-Ons

Hi,

I have a set of band-on Campagnolo Nuovo Record shifters, but my bike has braze-ons. I can't get the bit with the square hole off the band-on clamp, and it's really only these bits that I need to make the shifters work (see here http://www.lfgss.com/thread45074.html#post1529477)

I'm willing to buy a set of braze-on shifters though as I doubt anyone will just have the square bit, or I'll swap for my band-on fitting.

what about bending the clamp on part open, and then gently drill/grinding away the crimping?

I wouldn't know how do do this^^, but if you're certain about which part you want, you could do a lot worse than ringing www.campyoldy.co.uk ...

dmczone - as soon as possible really, was hoping to finish this build at the weekend. I could collect if you are in London? Do you have dozens of shifters, or the stopper bits?
