Y'know what, I'm not actually sure. I have a vague memory of an 81 and an 89 but I'd have to check. Can you tell by looking at the front?

If it's an 89 it'll be coil-tappable. EG one of the pots will be push/pull to split it to a "single coil"

OK back - they're not 89s. I suspect an 81 and an 85 but I don't know how to check without taking them out, and I don't want to fuck with it too much tbh.
Mornin'.
Dunno if anyone is a metal guitar geek up on this thread but I have a bit of history for sale here. It's a handbuilt guitar by Doug of Black Machine, the guitars played by Meshuggah and SikTh and all kinds of other good stuff. Doug's an old mate of mine and this is the guitar that he always referred to as Black Machine #1. Though I bet he said that to all the boys.
Anyway, it could very well be worth many times as much as I'm selling it for here, due to its history, but personally I think there's nothing sadder than an unplayed instrument, and I can't stand people who see guitars as nothing but investments, so this one is for sale.
It's got EMG active pickups, gold hardware, only ever been toured once and flightcased the whole time. It's got a few scratches on the back - which you'd expect with a 10 year old unvarnished guitar - but it still looks fantastic and plays beautifully.

Price is £1500 or would consider swapping for a Gretsch hollowbody plus cash. Kickass.
