Hackney Alley-Hack Monday 12th July

Hello,

The Hackney Bicycle Film Society is pleased to announce it has teamed up with the Hackney Bike Collective to bring you the Hackney Alley-Hack this will happen on this Monday 12th July and starts about 7:00pm

So what is an Alley-Hack? Basically a 8 mile treasure hunt where you travel from one station to the next do a performance get told where to go next then pass on to the next station. The start will be in Holborn and the finish somewhere in Hackney.

Winners of the most points get a prize. The best dressed and most wacky bike also get a prize.

You can either join as an individual or a team. Teams get extra points if they can do their performance in unison individuals get extra points for the quality of their performance.

If you’re interested in joining the fun then please e-mail the film society at hackneybicyclefilmsociety@gmail.com or text or phone us on 07940 121 513 before Sunday at 6:00 so we can print enough maps.

Highlights from Sundays Tour de France (it is a rest day for the TdeF) will be showing at the end of the ride on a big screen.

A number of people have said to us that cyclists are shy retiring types who are put off by the thought of doing a dance, least ways in public, so people may be put off joining the Alley-hack.

Following extensive discussions the collective has decided that how you do the alley-hack is up to you.

So you get additional points for doing a dance even if you only do part of the dance but you can opt to get nil point for the dance and head on round the course.

The Alley-Hack starts at 7:00pm sharp in Holborn details of start point when you register.

Because of the numbers saying they will come we have extended the registration deadline to 8:00 this evening.
