  • Dog track used to be a great night out. But the owners sold it to some property developers who then went to the wall.

    1. Walthamstow
    2. there
    3. East Drinks (Victoria Park)

    Sadly it's a shit hole...

  • Badmatt lives there I think.

  • eipping forest isnt far for some allright out of town riding

and a pub called William IV is supposed to brew it's own beer, never been though but could be good?

  • And if you see Dappy from N-Dubz, tell him Brian Harvey wants his hat back.

  • Drop the e. May help you deal with life there a little better :)

  • i would take some e
it might cheer op up in that hell hole !

  • Walthamstow is alright, it;s a nice commute into town. Everyone bangs on about the village but it's essentially a few (nice) places to eat dreamt up by Estate agents to sell houses to the middle class at inflated rates in a concentrated area. Saying that the Tapas Bar and Eat17 are nice and not too expensive... plus the butcher has awesome sausages.

The Nags Head is a good pub with a nice outside bit, local Leyton brewed ale and a strange fixation with seance esque crushed velvet table toppers... The Castle is alright as well... but the real winner is The Queens Head which has enough screens for all footy delights and dodgy Greek TV broadcasts of football at 3pm.

If you ever fancy a beer/ride hjh let me know I live on Howard Road...

That's in Baker's Arms. And yes, the beer is good, and only £1.99 a pint.

  • William IV does have nice beer.. better than the pub sadly. The village is alright

I used to live there back in the day but ended up moving to Croydon.. classy

The standard (Near Blackhorse Road) is a pretty interesting music venue with a bit of history and you get some really good tribute acts there. There's also a country pub towards tottenham hale which is fairly decent but I can't remember the name offhand

  • Walthamstow is alright really. The village is nice but it is pretty small and not really as nice as it is supose to be, worth checking out though. Waltham oak is a nice pub towards the top of lea bridge road near whips cross, you can get a nice meal and a pint of anything you want for like a fiver i think. The walnut tree is a pretty nice pub in leytonstone, you do get alsorts in there though.

  • Wlathamstow market is alway busiling aswell, selbornwalk is an ok shoping center.

  • The North star Leytonstone is quite nice. Small, relaxed, let you take your bikes out to the beer garden.
