Looking for a lightweight Sandy Gilchrist frame with close clearance. 57-58cm top tube ideally.

no pics, sorry. I just remember the frames in his shop in Edinburgh.

He use to track race up north and now works for specialized. I picked up a cheap gilchrist off eBay a while back but I'm mid building it up.

He still has a shop in Edinburgh, has a few of his old Flying Scot Track frames that he used to race on displayed. He won't sell them though!

Here's a couple of photographs of mine. The guy I bought it off on eBay said his brother gave him the frame and won over 10 Scottish track championships on it and has the name Dave Finlayson on the frame.

The stem was corroded in like a bastard and the seller didn't mention this so I got a partial refund and chanced trying to get it out with caustic soda which worked so the frame only set me back £55.

I was planning on respraying it as the paint is really badly damaged in places but I love the decals a lot. It's on hold for a little while till I can make my mind up.
