It's a drink. A drink can never be a diet. Unless it's beer.

Is there not a science squabbling thread for all this citing references chat?!
Seem to be completely stuck around the 72/73 mark an increased effort to not eat any crap doesn't seem to have restarted a general reduction in weight, I think in going to add more high intensity work to my training regime in the hope that it sheds some extra weight as after cycling 100 miles on Saturday and running 10 on Sunday as well as watching what I eat all week I'm exactly the same weight!

Girlfriend bought some of that Lotus biscuit spread on Saturday. Fuck, it's very, very good.
I slapped it on about 6 digestives after my half-marathon yesterday as a reward. -

layer some banana in there too next time. Instant banoffee pie. Replace digestives with chocolate digestives for extra win.

Basically, what body builders have been doing for years.
You're using the link I posted that recommends quantities of protein in the real I state for your argument?

The article doesn't offer any references as far as I can see.
BM doesn't account for the individuals actual body composition. Is there a consensus that the extra protein for athletes is for muscle cells and connective tissue to aid with recovery, repair and muscle synthesis?
Because it's a quick factsheet designed for athletes to refer to not sports scientists to argue about. But you can argue with the AIS about their values..
No, BM doesn't account for body composition - perhaps that's why they split the recommendations into sports types!

I am addicted to cinnamon and raisin bagels. I had two at midnight last night and woke up at 6am wanting another one.

I'm enjoying the sesame ones too, with hummus. That's protein, isn't it? Look, I can do a balanced diet too!!

Sesame seed one with peanut or almond butter. Nice.

Peanut and almond butters both get eaten out of the jar with a spoon.
I also sometimes eat honey straight from the jar but even I acknowledge that this isn't right.
Hello all, has anyone done this new shake with fruit juice thing my colleague is getting all moist over? It's called juice plus and is a 'science diet'
