Single-speed complete bike - 80's/90's British Eagle Road conversion.**
Will post more info later and sort some better photos when the sun comes out.
Reluctant sale - Need to help fund impending trip to Canada, and finally came to terms with the fact the bike is to small for me. It's in great condition, started building it up in the autumn and it hasn't been ridden as much as it should have. Small enough to suit some of the female riders out there. Specs are as below. Any questions please ask.
Size:
51cm (20'') Seat tube
54.5 (21.5) Top tube
Reynolds 453 British Eagle Frame, Powder coated/ with custom painted panels/decaled/stickered and lug lined. Few chips and minor dings, nothing serious. No mudguard eyelets.
Wheels are 700c, both Campag hubs and Mavic rims, a close but not matching pair. MA2/E2 Argent. Barely used Schwalbe Marathons (32c) with brown sidewalls.
Shimano sealed cartridge bearing bottom bracket, and fluted silstar cranks with a 42 tooth chainring with plenty of life left. Shimano 18 tooth freewheel on the back and a SRAM chain. Lyotard pedals with christophe cages and leather straps.
1967 Brooks professional brown saddle. Has torn on right hand side and has been repaired with extra rivet through the leather. Kalloy fluted seatpost.
Kalloy stem and Charge drop bars with vintage drilled Weinmann levers, and homebrew brown leather bar tape. Acor dual-pivot brakes with Kool-Stop salmon pads.
Bike is in London. Sorry will not post.
£275.
