Seems like one has to save up for August. August is when it all seems to come.
Hello,
For sale is a vintage circa 1963(ish) Armstrong path frame. 531 butted tubing, (ever pretty) Nervex lugs white white lug lining, built in England.
There is a Witcomb decal on the seat tube, as there was some work done on the frame by Mr. Witcomb with the previous owner, which involved replacing the down tube with what I was told was 853, but I have no way of confirming this.
Seat tube: 57.5 cm (c-t-c)
Top tube: 57 cm (c-t-c)
Seat post: 27.2
Spacing: 120 mm
Fits both 700 and 27" wheels, looks better with 27's though, check the link for photos of the frame built up.
Please note: the frame could se a new headset. The one included works, but is not 100% smooth. Tiny knick on top tube which has been touched up...photos to come.
INCLUDES NEW BOTTOM BRACKET, NOT IN PHOTOS.
£190
check out photos HERE
Cheers, B.
