I need to get the tape measure out when I get home so will update the thread when I do... being vague I would say medium, I'm 5'10 and its a good fit but I know that more detail is needed, will add precise dimensions later today when I get home

She looks like she's hiding, the little vixen...
-

She's sad because she gets neglected, left in my hallway... she needs to be with someone who will pay her attention

How big is it?
Looks like a medium to me. Which is 17.5"
The Rig is a modern classic, and came in Sm (15.5"), Med (17.5"), Lrg (19"), and XL (21")
Nice frame, with some nice kit on it. Good price too.

@smallfurry - cheers for the info! I was sold it as a medium so reckon that is spot on.
@dicki - go on, you know you want to! I may even offer a delivery service to sweeten the deal, you wouldn't even have to collect...

Eccentric bottom bracket?
Yep.
EBBs are awesome, i've got one on my 29er and I wouldn't have it any other way.

is this sold?

• #14
Begging for an 11 speed...

• #15
Someone should buy this, it's well sweet... and Garry Fishers are about to become extinct :(
-
• #16
What, did GF's coke money finally break Trek?
-
• #17
Alas not or i'd be out of a job!! Garry Fishers will no longer come under that branding, they will have Trek decals with a GF signature on the frame, the range will mainly consist of 29ers, kinda more boutique style bikes if you will!
-
• #18
Ah, yes, the trek brand consolidation.
I wondered if they were thinking about doing something like this when they didn't replace lemond. Hmm.I would love to buy your bike, it's my size, it's what I want, I just haven't the funds.
If you don't sell it by next summer (when school is out) then I'll happily buy it ;-) -
• #19
I wouldn't mind this bike either! I want a single Speed 29er but no funds! Yeah Lemond's got absorbed into the Trek company portfolio, the Filmore became the GF Triton... f**k knows why they have the mounts for frame fit pumps!
Good luck selling that beast brosef!

did this get resolved yet ?
-
• #21
Who knows, but i've got a mate who wants rid of a Garry Fisher PHD frame, it's got a replaceable dropouts so you can run it singlespeed or geared! Pretty sure he has both sets of dropouts if anyone is interested in it!

had asked size etc, but realised its a jump bike, not what i am looking for

Still hasn't sold, despite lots of enquiries - I've been out of the country for a month and haven't been able to respond to anyone so think I've missed the boat on selling her.
@DJ - I don't think it is a jump bike? It doesn't really have the geometry for that, I've been using it (on the very few occasions that I've had the chance) for general offroading, it rides like a nice fast multipurpose type thing (technical term)
Anyway, willing to hear near offers, if anyone cares

Like this but too small
SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
Right, this does not get used nearly enough and I don't see that situation changing any time soon. Plus, I need the money to spend August in Vietnam rock climbing... so, this off road beast has to go. It deserves a thrashing about and I just don't have the time to do it!
