Hi
I have a Raleigh Twenty , this might fit the bill?

I just overhauled a Raleigh Caprice for my missus. And it's come out a treat. It made its' debut at Wests last week. She chose the colour she wanted and off it went Armourtex and then I acquired the new bits it needed and she's overjoyed with it.

Girlfriend bike
Insert innuendo...

Yep, serious brownie points indeed. Now I get to indulge myself in all manner of things that would have previously given her the right hump!
It took some time, but it enabled her to really appreciate how long these things can take when you do them properly. It was a real pleasure to do. Still, now I just have to finish mine!

Here is the fun part.
It's at a mates, I should try and see him and take some photo's of it tomorrow. Selling it for £150, but can possibly be talked down. It's nice, it rides nice, I've replaced a load of bits on it. -

so, after all my post i've finally found a project bike. thanks everyone
next problem
i'm looking for a bike for my girlfriend. she likes pashley/vintage/stepthrough style bikes. something small as she's 5' 2". anything new is way out of the price range and gumtree has been throwing up a lot of dodge stuff. if anyone can point us in the right direction it would be great
if anyone has anything that even needs a bit of work that's fine as long as its in fairly good working order
thanks
