newbies above, read the original post, crashed and repaired, and repaired well, if you don't want it, can't afford it, quiet your buzz and go find something within your price range.
Op is a long standing member of the forum, his word is good, will others step forward to say the same for yours. He has bought and sold on here with no complaint since the forum was a wee nipper. And will be doing so long after this excellent frame has gone to a good home. -

i still say it's too dear. you veterans are letting emotional attachment to your good ol' boys get the better of your judgement. not knowing any of you, i'm impartial. listen to me, folks. i fought in the falklands.

Squoocher if that's the case op will drop the price if there's no offers or shove it on eBay. Your opinion is that, yours, and the op has been on here long enough to have had a look at what else has been offered, taken a peek on eBay to see what similar bikes have gone for and put it on here for a good price. Repaired and resprayed keirin frame and forks at £350 seems like an okay price to me. If it isn't to you then fair enough.
And if we have a wild west style classifieds section then I've got every right to step in and make my voice be heard when I believe people are chatting foolishness, just as you have every right to tell a man that his price is too high. Let's say we agree to disagree and leave it at that.
And if I and others don't stand up for the bods who have been here since year dot, because we know they are not fly by night grab the money and run merchants, then the classifieds will get a whole lot less friendly and a whole load more cutthroat in a hurry.
As you were.... -

It's not an anonymous frame! It's a Level, like this rather well publicized and famous one:
In fact, I am pretty sure it's the same model as the one above, but in a larger size.
Better pictures will be on their way as soon as i have the time to disassemble it. Back from the Netherlands now, so I will hopefully get this done tomorrow.
If no one wants it for £350, then I will reduce the price. If you don't like the price, but want the frame, then PM me and we can come to some arrangement. If you don't like the price and don't want it, then piss off!
Rusty: I need to sell this in the next 2 weeks to afford to repair my MTB. Wait for the pictures and make me an offer, you might be surprised. :)
Thanks for the kind words @corny/henry. See both of you soon i hope xxxx

Pretty interested in the whole thing (f/f, wheels, bars/stem etc), super special price if i buy the whole lot? I'm going to Belguim on Monday for a week so any deals would have to be completed the following week.

Hmm.. Pictures etc will be on their way soonish.
Prices will be revised downward as the stuff is a bit more used than I remember.
The bike is already in bits, but I could still potentially do a deal on it. It would not include cranks and BB because they are totally fuxx0red. Would include a set of drilled Cougar forks as well.
Photos of parts and details of the condition will be forthcoming as soon as I can get the LH crank off the BB. Might have to resort to an angle grinder (again!!!)

Few questions on the frame -
- if two tubes have been replaced, do you know what steel was used for the repair job?
- is it 55 square, centre to centre?
- you say it is built up with drilled forks at the moment - what forks will it be sold with, drilled or undrilled, and are they original?
Cheers,
Andy

Hi guise. So, I've owned this bike for over a year, had it resprayed sparkly purple and have loved riding it.
Due to a change in circumstance, and the frame being too small for me, it is time to part with it.
Frame is as pictured below, with a year or so of light use. This thread will be updated once the bicycle has been professionally disassembled.

£350 for frame/forks and ultegra headset.
This frame is a LeveL, and has the scalloped and logo'd seat stays to prove it, but it has been crashed and repaired, hence the lower than normal price for a bit of NJS loveliness.
The top and down tube have been replaced, but the repair job seems to be excellent and the frame has been absolutely superb to ride. The paint job is armourtex, and unfortunately has more or less obscured the LeveL logos on the seatstay scallops, something that I have never got round to rectifying with a bit of careful masking and paint stripper.
Also for sale is the wheelset, which is a rather lovely combination of black Araya rims laced to Gran Compe hubs. Wheels are true and bearings are smooth, but the stickers have come off and there are some scratches in the black paint of the rims. Obviously pictures will soon be taken. £200 incl. EAI 17t cog.
The crankset (sugino 75 w/ 42t ring) is pretty worn out and the threads are stripped on the non-driveside crank arm, so I will probably keep them for a future beater unless someone is particularly interested. The seatpost (nitto frog), stem (nitto jaguar) and handlebars (38cm nitto b123456 whatever the fuck they are called) will also be for sale but I am going to polish them first.
Right now the bike is built up with a set of drilled forks and a rather practical ugly set up, but I will be riding it to work to be dismantled lovingly at some point, hopefully over the weekend or possibly on Monday. If anyone is interested let me know via PM in the intervening time. I will post up some pictures once the parts are disassembled.
Thanks for looking.
