  • We're all doomed I say... doomed.....

  • Fingers crossed we keep Cycling England, or something similar... an obvious target for instant savings without pissing off tha majority of voters :(

  • If he puts higher taxes on Pickled Onion Monster Munch then, I'm going to kick off, big time.

  • olympics in two years, the one sport that britain clearly excels at... i think it's probably safe. fingers crossed, though.

  • Monster Munch is shit

  • I'm more worried about Pork Scratchings

  • Monster Munch is shit

    Lies.

  • we all need to take a bit of pain and suffering once in a while
    it's good for the soul

  • olympics in two years, the one sport that britain clearly excels at... i think it's probably safe. fingers crossed, though.

I imagine the sport side to be safe for 2 years, it's all the other stuff that benefits the general public out of "everday cycling promotion" that we could easily lose today.

  • cutting benefits AND corporate tax. clearly noone from the lib dems was available when the budget was being devised.

  • Monster Munch is shit

    Crumble muncher.

  • So what is coming? 20% VAT, what else?

  • A universal freeze on the use of freelancers

  • cutting child benefit from families earning more that £40k per year
stopping winter fuel payments to OAP's with more than a million ion the bank
increasing the lower end of the tax bracket by a grand so 100's of thousands of people on lower incomes will be £200 better of per year

  • Already implemented... Extended contracts only for the foreseeable future...

  • increasing the lower end of the tax bracket by a grand so 100's of thousands of people on lower incomes will be £200 better of per year

As well as those with their own limited companies who pay themselves fuck all and then top up with quarterly dividends...

    Result!

  • Cliveo, Fat Frank, JT and Cashley all to pay higher taxes, hopefully

  • taxing, testing and MOT's for bike
£15 pounds per year annual fee

  • 20% VAT
    25% Departmental budget cuts.

    Ace! (that's me being sarcastic)

  • £75 departure tax for flying long haul

  • If the talks of increasing personal allowances by £1000 goes through we will all be £15 a month better off! Woo!
But it will be spent on the 2.5% hike in VAT.

  • jesus. this budget's a disaster. ridiculously huge public spending cuts. cuts in corporate tax. vat up to 20%. last one out turn off the light, etc.

  • Unfortunately we are all going to have to swallow some bitter medicine if we are going to drag ourselves out of this mess

  • bleeding labour

  • Unfortunately we are all going to have to swallow some bitter medicine if we are going to drag ourselves out of this mess

Yes - it is only right that the most vulnerable and dispossessed pay more heavily than the rich who caused this.
