Erm, isn't the solstice today?

Yes.

It is? Crap! Just realised it's Midsummer's Day, not solstice. Ok, Midsummer's Day ride?

Same thing. Solstice may well be celebrated for a number of days by those that see it as a religious festival ... i.e. animist pagans and those druid weirdos. The winter soltice / christ mass festival seems to last 12 days... So don't worry what day you do the ride, just do the ride. Have fun!

Might have to meet you there... I've a community ride with a school/parents until it finishes, then'd need to eat before riding out. Txt me on the day if you like.

Feeling a bit bleh today. Fancy shortening the ride a little to somewhere like the Saxon Mill (but going the long way) ?

Was a good ride out from Cov. Only a few juggernaughts trying to kill us! Couple of cokes at the Saxon Mill and then pizza at mine. Hope you got back to Cov OK Marcus :)

Got back fine. The roads were empty - no cars and not a roadie in sight.
Anyone up for a ride anywhere? Longest day of the year and all. Andy suggested riding out to that pub Warwick way. I believe it's a good 20 miles from Cov? If so, bring lights ;)
I'm up for it I reckon. Can meet up anytime after 5:30/6pm.
