I did and didn't see a link to a £550 frame and fork sale?

Just to be clear it is NOT the bike pictured, but very similar. It is A Prestige, not a Super Prestige. It's currently in Bristol but will ship anywhere for the right offer.

Seat tube CTT- 59cm
Top tube CTC - 56cm
Rear Dropout - 126mmIt's a Tommasini Prestige - Columbus Tubing, which kind I'm not sure - my online research leads me to think SPX or SLX
Cinelli Campione del Monde bars and Cinelli stem
600 group - cranks, seatpost, hubs, brakes, levers, BB, 7 speed casette, front and rear mech - rings are aftermarket shimano (50 - 42)
Selle Italia Turbo saddle in lovely red - was NOS until quite recently!Mavic Open sport rims
Cinelli bartape and mix of lightly used conti tyres
Few very minor scratches and chips but absolutely no dents or cracks. Very lightly used - summer miles and trainer.
Very near perfect condition.

I take it you aren't actually interested in the bike just looking to spoil my for sale thread for the sake of being a chippy fucker?
The red F&F was a dwarf size, not a full bike and when it was a full bike he was offered a grand for it on here.
I'm really not interested in your opinion, but I am open to serious offers from people who know an unabused rideable classic when they see one, so lets see shall we?

Yeah, well good luck with the 1,000 golden nugget sale there mate.
With your temperament let's hope the bike sells itself.I think the frame is quite nice, not the best colourway IMO but others will disagree.
IMHO - I just think the Shimano 600 (Ultegra) groupset on the bike is very functional
it didn't date very well and If I bought a tommasini (and I have been looking) for that kinda money I would want a nicer looking groupset to match the finish that tommasini's have. Maybe Camapagnolo
or Dura-Ace would look nice. If the frame was 600 golden nuggets that's a reasonable price and I might pay 200-250 nuggets for the groupset if nothing better was around. That Tommasini on Ebay was nice for 580 golden nuggets even with customs added.

was interested - but not at 1000 and not with the cheery attitude :)
If you come asking for price guide - and then throw out 1K ...
I would honestly say if you offered it from 500-650 tops you would get some nibbles. The bike is most likely not slx - but sl - and doesnt have the most desireable group, and does not seem to be in immaculate condition.
good luck with the sale

I apologise for my attitude, it was a long night. In the absence of a valuation when I asked, and on my mate's request, the £1k price went up. I still think it's bad form to shout down a price without suggesting an alternative. I'm not trying to hoodwink anyone here, I've been honest in my description, added loads of photos, offer what you think it's worth and I will pass those offers on to my mate.
I saw that bike on ebay in Switzerland, it was an absolute steal, but it doesn't mean that this is worth less. At the end of the day I think it's a difficult bike to value because they don't come up for sale very often.
So to recap - I'm a moody fucker, I apologise, in the forum's eyes it's worth £500-£850, I will split if I get offers for F&F and groupset. I'll shut up now.

^ That's a polite way of putting it...
Selling this for a friend who's off travelling, it's in really nice nick with full 600 groupset cinelli bars, very little used with a few very small cosmetic scratches, 56cm I think.
I'll bung some pictures and more details later, it's a blue white fade really pretty bike very similar to this: http://velospace.org/node/14198 (but not a Super)
Any ideas on ballpark price for this? Cheers.
