Big Fuckin Awesome-Kat

We had a good ride a couple of weeks ago but I think its time we did a MASSIVE version. Small entry fee (couple of quid) spoke cards, prizes, booby prizes, party afterwards. Looks like everyone has finished uni now and the sun is shining so perfect time for it.

Lets do it with enough time so everyone is free and can get involved, be best if we have a few people organise it as I've not done this before. I reckon do it on a sat middle of the day so we can drink and have fun afterwards. We could even have other events like hipster-fixie-skid contest and trackstanding, maybe even make it a theme so we can all dress up like dicks.

Ideas/opinions please!

Awesome, so everyone is up for this. So next step is to chose a date and a theme and some events, prizes and stuff and then post it in the rides section.

In honour of Cedy's deceased polo bike I am well up for a French theme :)

We've had some ideas for running the cat including coloured ribbons and whatnot.

We were thinking about finishing at the beach with a bbq (bbq bike)

We need a spoke card made, who can design? I'm liking the french theme.

Also it occurred to me yesterday that we should ask from some free beers from the Fiddlers, the guys have started recognising us and if we're bringing return custom we could blag a few pints.

11th july sounds cool is it still gonna be a day long thing? just planning about getting work off etc, me n mike both wanting a sunday off may screw things up a bit in the shop... as for spoke cards, my lady companion is a graphic designer, shall i see if she can knock something up?

Well It'll either be Sat or Sun and Sundays' have been working well recently.

There's plans to do plenty of fun things, maybe even an early polo session.

What about making it a two day session. So Sat we could have a roll about town and then some polo followed by beers and things then Sunday afternoon have the race followed by BBQ.

Love the French theme, think I saw another cat somewhere where they had to transport a baguette around.
