(not going ot ride conversions with sloping dropouts for safety reasons)
I have a unipack frame? It has track ends, so it's not dangerous like conversions are known to be.

But on a serious note, 16T cog, miche 115mm BB, and a cheapy rubbish saddle here for not much at all.

Fixed+Hub slipping forwards in a conversion with sloping dropouts+not safe. I see what you're saying, and that's why I'd rather have a beaten up old frame of decent quality than a unipack.
Also; any of that stuff would be great. How much would you be after for it?

Well, I've never heard of a conversion-related accident, but, I have tight nuts.
£10 posted should do it. Sound fair? Cog is worn but useable, BB is used but still pretty smooth as far as I can tell with it not being on a bike, and the saddle is pretty bobby-basic cheap OTP road bike type thing - it's on my commuter at the moment though and is actually quite comfy. Cheap is cheap.

I might have frame for you, 80's Raleigh 501 - comes with free seat stay ding. 58/59ish st.
Edit- S'not a track frame. Long drop out though. -

If money is the issue I really don't understand why you want a track frame. Forward facing dropouts are not dangerous in any way if you tighten your nuts properly. Some of the road frames on Hilary's threads are gorgeous and often sub-100 quid. That's how to build cheap. You'll be lucky to find a track frame in any condition for less than 150, and more likely 200.

Forward facing dropouts are not a safety issue at all, ever, unless you're an idiot. Hilary sells frames for £40 if you're really short on cash.

Also, you weren't seriously being offered a unipack? And they have track ends anyway, so the 'safety issues' would not be present, although unipacks are fucking shit.
sorry, i'm angry today

what size?
i have a 54cm genesis flyer frame you can have for 65 notes.
comes with a seatpost that needs a bit of a tickle to get out, a headset, and a mich BB.
I'm absolutely at the extremes of broke, and I need to sell my proper bike. However, I need something on the road as cheaply as possible. If anyone wants to 'help a brother out' by sending some cheap bits my way to build up a beater, so I can ride to work, that would be great. Ideally I'd like a proper track frame with proper track ends (not going ot ride conversions with sloping dropouts for safety reasons), as abused (but preferably not dead), and as cheap as possible. I can weld pretty well, if needed. Also I'll need a super cheap, but reasoably solid wheelset, and other bits to make it a complete bike.
I'm living in Suffolk now, but will be in London at smei-regular intervals over the next few weeks to collect bits if needed. I can trade anything in this thread, or offer whatever samll chunk of money is left over from selling my Giant after I've got my finances back on track.
